Wetland Mitigation Banking
Mitigation Banks provide the necessary mitigation credits to compensate for unavoidable impacts to waters of the United States, including wetlands,
that result from activities authorized under Section 404 of the Clean Water Act and/or Section 10 of the Rivers and Harbors Act. JMB has established
or acquired seven thriving Mitigation Banks in Louisiana. Two of these Banks are in the Louisiana Coastal Zone where mitigation is needed most.
Custom Mitigation (PRM’s) is a viable and cost effective option for large projects such as harbors, LNG plants, pipelines, or any other projects
that will involve a great quantity of mitigation. JMB is the largest single family land holding company in Louisiana and has vast access to
coastal and inland property that can be used for custom mitigation. With that advantage, partnered with JMB's skilled scientist and veteran
permitters, JMB can create custom mitigation to fit any situation our clients need. Contact us today to learn more about our custom mitigation
